I wasn't sure what to expect from this product but I'm decently surprised. I haven't used it long enough to see a difference in the pigmentation and scarring of my skin but I was content with the quality of the exfoliation. I feel like the first time I used it, it wasn't a great exfoliation but that was more user error than the product itself. I have a very dry, very sensitive face so the first time I use a product, I find that I'm very nervous and don't use it to it's fullest extent. The second time I used it, however, my skin felt great afterwards. My skin was well exfoliated, all the dead, dry skin was removed and there was no irritation or redness. That is the biggest selling point for me, the fact that my skin had literally no reaction to it. There was no negative effects to using this product. I do honestly think the price is a little steep, and it does have a bit of an odd smell, but I can get over those two things for the simple fact that it worked well on my sensitive skin and caused no issues. I also enjoy that you don't have to use any special cleansers or soaps, just water, and that you can slip your hand inside. It's a very low maintenance, easy-to-use product and I definitely plan to continue using it.
This scrubs and exfoliates really well. My only complaint is that the instructions say not to use soap with this mitten so after scrubbing I have to clean my face off with soap. It would be nice to use it with soap so I only have to do a 1 step wash instead of 2. It’s hard to see the mess on the mitten but I can tell it’s working because after lathering soap I tend to scrub with my fingers and nails to remove left over dead skin/ other off my face and neck. With regular scrubs, I tend to still feel gunk roll off my face. Not this one!
I LOVE This product. It keeps the skin on my face INCREDIBLY soft. If you wax or thread your eyebrows, or any facial hair at all, this is a MUST for the prevention of ingrown hairs. As someone who uses the Korean Italy exfoliating mitts on my body, the price seems VERY high to me. However, the Korean mitts are just too harsh for facial use, and the MicrodermaMitt REALLY get the job done in a way that is not damaging to my sensitive facial skin.
We’ve spent a small fortune trying a variety of different acne treatments for my teenage son. None of them worked well. Some dried his face horribly, some made his face super inflamed, some made the breakouts so much worse.We tried this face mitt on a whim and it has been amazing!! Totally changed his skin for the better. His face looks awesome! It’s not perfect, but it is shockingly better. He doesn’t have big, red, infected and inflamed acne. The mitt clears his pores so well!!
Not as nice as the original MicrodermaMitt, but my first one has started to wear pretty thin and is less effective after having it for 10 years. I was so happy with the first one that I re-ordered but it looks like they've redesigned it a bit, the material seems different. That said, it is an excellent exfoliating cloth (don't scrub too hard!) and if it lasts as long as the first one did I'll be very happy with it.
